How Charging Costs Work

Important: Electroverse doesn't set prices - networks do

Each network has own pricing
Prices shown in app before charging
Typically charged per kWh or per minute
Rapid chargers more expensive than slow

Example Prices

Slow chargers (7kW): £0.20-0.35/kWh
Fast chargers (22kW): £0.30-0.45/kWh
Rapid chargers (50kW): £0.50-0.70/kWh
Ultra-rapid (150kW+): £0.70-0.85/kWh

Starting a Charge

Method 1 - RFID Card:

Tap card on charger reader
Wait for confirmation beep/light
Plug into vehicle
Charging starts automatically

Method 2 - App:

Select charger in app
Tap "Start Charging"
Plug into vehicle
Charging begins

Common Issues

Charger Won't Start

Troubleshooting:

Check charger shows as available in app
Ensure RFID card is activated
Try other connector if multiple available
Check vehicle charging port unlocked
Report fault in app if charger broken
Try alternative charger nearby

Incorrect Billing

Check session details in app
Verify kWh delivered matches expectation
Some networks charge by time, not kWh
Contact support with session ID
Refunds issued if genuine error

Card Not Working

Ensure card activated in app
Check card hasn't been deactivated
Try cleaning card (dirt can affect RFID)
Use app as backup
Order replacement if damaged
